Do other accounts besides Kingdom Builder Savings give back to my church or ministry?

The Kingdom Builder Savings account is the best account to maximize donations that go directly back to your church or ministry on an ongoing basis. However, we do also make a one-time donation to your church or ministry for accounts for other accounts opened, such as our Checking or Cash back rewards credit card. While opening these accounts generate a one-time donation, the Kingdom Builder Savings account is an ongoing donation based upon the monthly total deposit balance from your church or ministry community.

Do you do loans for equipment purchases or solar panels?

Yes.  For loans like this, we prefer to use the church as collateral and do a real estate loan. This makes the rates and terms better for the borrower.  However, if that is not possible, we do have equipment loans available.

Do you offer a solution for churches to accept offerings, tithes, etc. online?

Yes. Christian Community Credit Union has customized solutions for ministries to make it possible for their members to give automatically from their checking or savings account and/or credit card. Call The Ministry Development Group at 800.347.CCCU (2228) ext. 6216 or email us to find out more about the different options available.

Does it cost me anything to register?

Nope! Registration is entirely free. It’s our way of saying thank you to you and your staff for being a partner of CCCU

Does it cost money to become a member?

It doesn’t cost anything to become a member of CCCU. Instead, as a member you’ll have access to exclusive membership benefits you can only get when you join our cooperative.

Does my organization get any kickback for staff who become members?

Yes! Your organization will receive $100 for each new member that signs up from your staff so long as the applicant clearly notes the group code and your name as the employer in their application. These funds can be used for staff parties, recognitions, appreciations, events, and more! It’s entirely up to you! The payout occurs on a quarterly basis, and is based upon certain terms and conditions being met for active accounts. Payout amount and terms are subject to change.

Does the cardholder need to sign an agreement?

Each card is distributed with Terms & Conditions. This document fully explains the terms and conditions regarding the use of the card. This document can also be viewed online. The cardholder accepts the terms and conditions by signing the back of the card, using the card, or receiving the card by request.

Does the cash have to be deposited into a Credit Union account?

Yes, you can only have the cash deposited into a Christian Community Credit Union savings or checking account. Christian Community Credit Union’s routing number will already be prefilled for you.

Does the Credit Union require personal guarantees for church loans?

In most cases, we don’t require personal loan guarantees. However, a personal guarantee might sometimes be helpful in reducing risk. Every situation is unique, so it’s impossible to say for sure whether one will be needed.

Does the payment to the credit card have to be to a Christian Community CU card?

Yes. The payment will be credited to the credit card from which the points are being redeemed.

Does the scanner come with a warranty?

Warranty can be purchased along with the scanner.

How can I check the balance on my gift card?

Call the number on the back of your card for balances and transaction history. Both personalized gift cards (purchased online) and non-personalized gift cards (purchased in the branch) will have to be registered prior to reviewing the account information online.
